Step One: Read the RAMP Application Guide. Please also view the Information Page

Step Two: Gather materials for your CD. Follow the instructions in the RAMP Application Guide to organize your CD and name your files. This format will allow the judging committee to easily access all your materials and will also ensure you didn't forget to include any necessary documentation. 

Following is a list of the individual sections for your application CD. Use the ASCA-provided templates. Download the template files at one time by clicking here. Your application will be scored based on this rubric (revised, fall 2009).

The CD must include:

1. Statement of Philosophy

2. Mission Statement

3. School Counseling Program Goals

4. Competencies and Indicators

5. Management Agreement

6. Advisory Council

7. Calendars

8. Classroom Guidance Curriculum: Action Plan and Lessons

9. Classroom Guidance Curriculum: Results Report

10. Small-Group Responsive Services

11. Closing-the-Gap Results Report

12. Program Evaluation Reflection

Step Three: Complete the signature page. Also provide evidence that the RAMP application, which is a picture of your school's counseling program, has been presented to your school district's board of education through original signature by a school board representative.

Step Four: Pay online when you complete the online portion or pay by check or purchase order. If you are paying by check or purchase order, you must include this payment sheet with your CDs.

Step Five: Mail the information sheet, signature page, payment sheet and FOUR copies of the CD in a protective case (each CD and case with your school name written on them) to: ASCA RAMP Applications, 1101 King St., Suite 625, Alexandria, VA 22314. Materials must arrive by 4:30 p.m. (eastern time) Oct. 15, 2010.
